Update Via PC

IMPORTANT: Updating display firmware via PC is limited to authorized resellers only. If you would like to update your display firmware at home, scroll down to the "Update Via Mobile App" section on this article.

GETTING STATED – DOWNLOAD TPSERVICE

Extract the downloaded zip file, TPSERVICE & SW102 files.

Afterward, extract the zip file, TPSESRVICE.zip.

After successfully installing the software, the “TPSERVICE” will show installing the software, the “TPSERVICE” will show below.

STEP 1: CONNECT THE PROGRAMMING CABLE

Ensure that you have the TPSERVICE software installed, Double click the icon of TPSERVICE. 

Check the UART drop-down, remember the COM port you have at beginning. For example, the image below has COM4 & COM5.

Connect the programming cable to the battery.

Plug the USB to the PC’s USB port. The opposite end of the programming cable is connected to the main connector of the wiring harness.

Connect the SW102 display to the display connector of the wiring harness.

STEP 2: CHOOSE THE CORRECT COM PORT

Check again the UART drop-down, find the new COM port. For example, COM3 is the port for this programming cable. Kindly note each programming cable may use to different COM port. Select the COM port which appears after connecting the programming cable to the computer.

STEP 3: CHOOSE THE UPDATE FIRMWARE

Press the button, “Update File:”.

Select the file named “SW102-CYC-KM5S-V1.1.1-221209(1)”.

STEP 4: CONNECT THE DISPLAY 

Click the “Connect” button in the main page.

(Please note that the label of this button will be changed from “Connect” to “Disconnect” immediately if the connection is success.)

Then click the “Update” button

Press and hold the power button & menu button at the same time for 1 second, the firmware 

update process will start.

Update Via Mobile App

IMPORTANT: The "Update Via Mobile App" function is only available to the CYC SW102 displays and cannot be used for DS103 displays.

Download the mobile application in the link below on any Android device that supports Google Play. This application is not available on iOS. Once you have completed the download, ensure you have downloaded the applicable firmware file for your display and follow the prompts on the app to complete the firmware re-flash.

Steps:

1. Download and Install the App
2. Download the firmware and save on the device
3. Open the App
4. Make sure the Display is connected to the controller and is powered on.
5. Select the Display from the list and connect to the display (Look for TOPHMI)
6. Click the DFU button in the top Right corner and select the Display firmware file.
7. Long Press the M button to start the update
8. Wait for update to finish.
9. Disconnect the Display from the App and restart the display.
