A: Please contact support@ebmx.com so we can assist you to re set.

A: Error 01 is over voltage. It means that the wrong battery is selected in the app. It might also trigger for a second if using large amounts of field weakening with a fully charged battery.

A: Error 02 is under voltage. This means that the battery is low and needs to be recharged, or the BMS tripped. If the BMS tripped, settings will need to be lowered.

A: Error 06 is motor over temp.

1. If the motor temperature seems far off , please check to make sure the correct motor is selected on the general page in the app.

2. Your motor might be hot and will need time to cool down. The motor temperature can be checked on the dashboard page in the app and also on the display. You can lower your battery amps, kw, phase amps and field weakening to help the motor run cooler. Increasing the rear sprocket size will also help if you are riding at slower speeds often.

3. If the temperature is jumping around you either have a faulty temperature sensor or a loose connection. I would inspect the wires / pins for the hall / encoder connector. This is usually located in the skid plate.

A: Error 23 is throttle voltage. We would recommend doing a throttle calibration. If this does not help the throttle might be faulty. Please email a screenshot of the diagnosis page in the app to support@ebmx.com

A: Error 24 is regen throttle voltage. Please unplug the thumb throttle and check for bent or broken pins. If they look ok, please unplug the 2 to 1 cable from the controller and check for bent or broken pins. It’s possible that the 2 to 1 cable might not be plugged into the controller all the way or the cable has been damaged. If you do not have the regen throttle plugged in to the bike, make sure that regen throttle is turned off in the app. Please just ask… by web message/email/text or phone us anytime.

EBMX Display FAQs
EBMX Display FAQs

A: The display is only compatible with the V2 X9000 because it uses Canbus.

If you are upgrading from a V2 to V3 controller and would like to use Wheel Lift assist with you old 3.5 colour display you will need to take the display to your dealer for a firmware update.

Q: Why is my 3.5 display not working?

A: Your firmware may be out of date. Your X9000 isn’t a V2. Your cable isn’t plugged in fully or pins are bent.

A: If this happens when you chop the throttle or when using thumb regen, this is normal. If it happens when the bike is not moving the 2 to 1 cable needs to be checked for bent pins, or it might not be plugged into the controller all the way.

A:The SW102 uses UART and will have a little bit of lag. If you have a V2 x9000, you could upgrade to the 3.5 color display that uses Canbus. The 3.5 display does not have any lag.
